Apple’s Vision Pro Headset Expected To Experience Shortages On Launch Day, Ming-Chi Kuo Reveals

The highly-anticipated release of the Apple Vision Pro is just around the corner, set for February 2. Notably, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has raised concerns about the limited inventory available for purchase on the launch day. According to Kuo, Apple is gearing up to produce around 60,000 to 80,000 Vision Pro units for the initial launch.

This scarcity is anticipated to result in a swift sell-out, with Kuo predicting that the device will be in high demand among Apple’s core fan base.

Despite uncertainties surrounding key applications and the device’s high price point, Kuo maintains that the Vision Pro’s technological innovations will drive swift sales. Kuo’s earlier remarks about pre-order demand causing sell-outs and potential shipping delays underscore the widespread anticipation for the product.

What’s inside the box?

Apple has detailed the contents of the Vision Pro box, which includes the headset, a Solo Knit Band, a Dual Loop Band, Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, a device cover, a polishing cloth, and a USB-C power adapter with cable.

To secure a Vision Pro on launch day, interested customers in the United States can place pre-orders starting January 19 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time. While the initial release is limited to the United States, Apple has not disclosed when the headset will be available in other countries.
